How Kapat Yoga is Formed
Kapat Yoga is formed in a birth chart under any of the following conditions:
Mercury and Mars are conjunct in any house of the chart.
Mercury is conjunct with a malefic planet in the 9th house.
Mars is placed in the 3rd house without any aspect from a benefic planet.
Mercury is placed in the sign of Aries.
A malefic planet is placed in the 4th house or aspects the 4th house without any benefic influence.
The 4th house is under Paap Kartari Yoga (malefic planets placed in the 3rd and 5th houses).
The 10th lord or 8th lord is placed in the 4th house without benefic influence.
Kapat Yoga Effects:
The native may not be good at heart and tends to indulge in hypocrisy or deception. The word “Kapat” means to deceive or cheat. In the present times (Desh, Kaal, Patra), this yoga can also be useful in the charts of lawyers, sportsmen, politicians, and marketing professionals, as Mercury represents communication and intelligence, while Mars signifies power, logic, and aggression.
