Blue Origin Rocket Explosion:

A rocket made by Blue Origin exploded on its launch pad in Florida during a hotfire test. Footage shows the rocket bursting into a massive ball of fire. Blue Origin stated it experienced an "anomaly" during the test, with all personnel accounted for and safe. The incident occurred around 21:00 local time (02:00 GMT) on 28 May 2026 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Launch Complex 36, Florida. Jeff Bezos noted it is too early to know the root cause, but the team will investigate and rebuild. The test was ahead of an upcoming launch—no threat to the public.

Let me find the astrological reason of this incident if any

Lagna and Navamsa Analysis.

The chosen Lagna is Scorpio, a fixed sign. Fixed signs are suitable for stable events like India's independence (Taurus Lagna), but movable Lagnas are preferred for dynamic activities such as rocket launches. The Navamsa Lagna is Aquarius, again a fixed sign.

Timing and Nakshatra

The event occurred during Adhik Masa of Jyestha, when auspicious activities are traditionally prohibited. The Moon was in Swati Nakshatra, which is a curved-faced Nakshatra and not suitable for this activity, as the rocket is meant to go high in the sky, not in a straight line horizontally. Further, Moon’s position in the 12th house of loss, under the aspect of 6th lord Mars (signifying fire and accidents), is highly unfavourable.

10th House and Its Lord (Akash/Sky Significance)

The 10th house represents Akash (sky) and holds special importance for rocket launches. The 10th lord Sun is in the 7th house in Taurus, in Vargottama [Same sign in Rashi and Navamsa], conjunct with 8th lord Mercury (calamity). Taurus is Masa Shunya Rashi for Jyestha Month. Sun, as the 10th lord in Rashi Chart and is aspecting the 10th house in D-9 and being fiery in nature, played the role of fire as Antar Dasha Lord at the time of launch. The 10th house contains Ketu (fire) without benefic aspects in the Rashi Chart.

Navamsa (D-9) Chart

In D-9, fiery planets Sun and Mars aspect the 10th house (Mars being the 10th lord there). Sun as 7th lord aspects the 10th house (Akash). Mercury, the Pratyantar Dasha lord, is in the 8th house as the 8th Lord under aspect of the 6th lord Moon (accidents).

Hora Lord

The Hora Lord [Lord of the hour] Jupiter is placed in the 8th house of calamity in the Rashi Chart, conjunct 12th Lord Venus, showing the loss through calamity.

Mercury's Role

Mercury, the 8th lord in the Rasi chart and Navamsa Chart, conjoins the 10th lord Sun and aspects the Lagna from the 7th house, indicating a technical glitch related to communication or systems. Mercury is under the aspect of 6th Lord Moon in Navamnsa.

Dasha at the Time of the Event

The operating Dasha was Rahu–Sun–Mercury. The Antar Dasha lord Sun, though Vargottama, is afflicted by conjunction with the 8th lord Mercury [Pratyantar Dasha Lord] in the Masa Shunya Rashi of Taurus in the Rashi Chart during Jyestha Masa. This clearly explains the anomaly during the hotfire test. Sun aspects the 10th House [Sky] in Navamnsa Chart.

Conclusion

The combination of fixed Lagna and Navamsa for a movable activity, undesirable placements of Jupiter and Venus in the 8th and Moon in 12th houses, Adhik Masa, afflicted 10th house/lord related to sky/launch, fiery influences of Sun, Ketu and Mars, and the Rahu-Sun-Mercury Dasha at the time of launch clearly indicate the technical anomaly and explosion. The chart did not support a safe and successful hot fire test. As Pratyantar Dasha, Lord Mercury is the 8th Lord both in Rashi and Navamsa.

“It’s too early to know the root cause but we’re already working to find it. Very rough day, but we’ll rebuild whatever needs rebuilding and get back to flying. It’s worth it.”
