Vedic Astrology Prediction Matches Reality: Marine Le Pen’s 2027 Hopes Revived as Court Shortens Ban

A few days ago on 31st March 2025, the world was stunned when Marine Le Pen, a prominent French politician, was convicted of misusing European Union (EU) funds and banned from running for office for five years. This verdict appeared to eliminate her chances of contesting the 2027 French presidential election.

However, in a significant development today (July 7, 2026), the Paris Court of Appeal upheld the conviction but shortened the ban — reviving Marine Le Pen’s hopes for 2027. Many wonder if she underestimated the legal consequences of her actions. Her party, the National Rally, seemed unprepared for the initial major setback. As an astrologer, I examined her horoscope for clues about this embezzlement case and election ban but found no obvious signs at first. After detailed research into Vedic astrology, I gained insights into the cosmic reasons behind this pivotal moment. Remarkably, the court’s latest decision closely matches the favourable outcome I had predicted under her Rahu-Venus-Moon dasha.

Marine Le Pen’s authentic birth details, sourced from Astrodatabank with an AA rating, show a Virgo Lagna (Ascendant) with Ketu in the 1st house. As an astrologer, confirming the accuracy of her horoscope is vital, especially given her career as a lawyer. In her chart, Saturn, the 5th lord of education by choice, aspects the 5th house, symbolizing law and discipline in Vedic astrology. This influence is amplified by Jupiter, the planet of justice and wisdom, forming a powerful Saturn-Jupiter connection that underscores her legal profession. Additionally, Saturn as the 6th lord of litigation perfectly aligns with her career, highlighting her involvement in legal battles and disputes. This planetary interplay provides deep insights into her professional journey and life path.

On March 31, 2025, she was influenced by the Rahu-Ketu-Jupiter Dasha. The Antar Dasha Lord, Ketu, is placed alone in the Lagna, free from conjunctions or planetary aspects. Its sign Lord, Mercury—also the Lagna Lord—is strongly positioned in the 11th House of gains. This placement creates confusion, as Mercury is both the Lagna Lord and an auspicious planet for the Lagna.

Meanwhile, the Pratyantar Dasha Lord, Jupiter, is strengthened as Vargottama and positioned as the 4th Lord. It is conjunct with Venus, the 9th Lord, forming a Rajayoga that adds complexity to the chart. I was puzzled by the court’s decision during her Jupiter Paryantar Dasha and sought clarity through Vedic astrology. My exploration led me to Jupiter’s placement in the 2nd house from the Sun.

According to Bhavartha Ratnakar, a planet in the 2nd house from the Sun moves more swiftly than its normal speed. This principle may apply to Jupiter’s transit on October 12, 1968, Jupiter entered Virgo, transitioning from Leo into the next zodiac sign, and traversed approximately 15 degrees in just two months and seven days. According to classical astrology texts, a fast-moving (Attichari) Jupiter is often considered inauspicious, which could account for its failure to produce the anticipated positive outcomes in her Chart during Pratyantar Dasha of Jupiter.

Even when Jupiter is Vargottama—occupying the same sign (Leo) in both the Rasi and Navamsa charts—and participates in a Rajyoga, a planetary combination associated with power and success, its swift motion may prevent it from delivering the expected favourable results for her.

Mercury the sign lord of Ketu[Antar Dasha Lord] , as the Lagna Lord, is also in conjunction with Mars (the 8th Lord, representing punishment) and the Sun (the 12th Lord, indicating mental agitation) in the Rashi Chart in 11th House . This connection of Ketu with the 8th and 12th Lords repeats in the Navamsa Chart, where Ketu [Antar Dasha Lord] resides in the 12th House alongside the Moon [Mind], under Saturn’s aspect. Saturn, as the 8th Lord (symbolizing humiliation), aspects Ketu in the 12th House of the D-9 chart.  Saturn signifies Law as per Vedic astrology.

Additionally, in the Navamsa, the 12th Lord, Mercury, operates from the 6th House of litigation aspects Ketu the antar Dasha Lord, while the Pratyantar Dasha Lord, Jupiter (the 6th Lord in the 2nd House), engages in a sign exchange with the Sun in the 6th House  and also aspects the 6th House of litigation, subtly reinforcing the event’s significance.

The Paris Court of Appeal stated on Tuesday [ 1st April, 2025] that it anticipates issuing a decision by the summer of 2026, ahead of the 2027 election. This timeframe, spanning April 6, 2026, to July 6, 2026, aligns with her Rahu-Venus-Moon Dasha. The Antar Dasha Lord Venus, the 9th Lord, unites with Jupiter, the 4th Lord, creating a Rajayoga in the 12th House of the Rashi chart. This alignment suggests that Venus, in its Antar Dasha, will strongly favour the delivery of justice, amplified by Jupiter’s supportive influence.

In the Navamsa chart, Venus occupies the 10th house and receives the aspect of Jupiter, which rules the 9th and 6th houses while also influencing the 10th House. As the Antar Dasha Lord, this placement of Venus suggests a strong potential for a favourable court ruling. Meanwhile, the Pratyantar Dasha Lord Moon resides in the 4th house, aspected by its sign lord Jupiter, uplifting the otherwise isolated Kemdrum Moon in the Rashi chart. However, in the Navamsa, the Moon’s position in the 12th house with Ketu introduces complexity. Fortunately, an indirect aspect from Jupiter—facilitated by a sign exchange with the Sun—mitigates this, pointing toward a positive court outcome for her, though possibly accompanied by a fine.

In transit, Jupiter will be in Gemini during the summer of 2026, positioned in the 10th House of Marine Le Pen’s chart, activating the 11th Lord [Moon] of her natal chart. Simultaneously, Saturn will aspect the 11th Lord, Moon from Pisces.

Conclusion:

Marine Le Pen’s March 31, 2025, conviction for misusing EU funds, resulting in a five-year election ban, halts her 2027 French presidential candidacy. Vedic astrology analysis of her Virgo Lagna chart reveals why this occurred. During the Rahu-Ketu-Jupiter Dasha, Ketu in the 1st house, connected to Mercury (Lagna Lord) with Mars (8th Lord, punishment) and Sun (12th Lord, mental distress) in the 11th house, created legal vulnerabilities. Jupiter, despite its Vargottama strength and Rajayoga with Venus, moved swiftly (Attichari) in 1968, reducing its benefice impact, as per Bhavartha Ratnakar, leading to the adverse verdict. In the Navamsa, Ketu in the 12th house with the Moon, under Saturn’s (8th Lord, humiliation) aspect, reinforces litigation struggles. For the 2026 appeal under the Rahu-Venus-Moon Dasha, Venus’s Rajayoga with Jupiter and a strong Navamsa 10th-house placement, supported by Jupiter’s transit in Gemini, suggests a likely favourable ruling, possibly with a fine. Le Pen’s Mercury in the 11th house indicates she can sustain influence, potentially guiding the National Rally through this setback.

Bottom Note

Update – July 7, 2026: Today, the Paris Court of Appeal upheld the conviction but shortened the election ban. This allows Marine Le Pen a realistic chance to contest the 2027 presidential election (though the electronic bracelet may affect her campaign).

The Vedic astrology analysis in this article correctly indicated this outcome. The Rahu-Venus-Moon dasha was predicted to bring a favourable court ruling with justice delivered, possibly along with a fine, which closely matches today’s decision. Her chart also shows she can continue to guide the National Rally effectively.
