Stars Over the Long March: What PTI and Pakistan’s Horoscopes Reveal About the Near Future
Thousands of supporters of Pakistan’s jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan have begun a long march to Islamabad demanding his release. His party announced this on Monday amid deep political divisions. The protest was delayed after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government offered talks, but those talks collapsed over the weekend. PTI’s last major demonstration two years earlier ended in deadly clashes with security forces. Now thousands of police and paramilitary personnel surround the capital, while shipping containers block the government district that houses parliament, the prime minister’s residence and foreign embassies.

The Party’s Chart: Signs of Pressure and Rebellion
The authentic Virgo Lagna chart of the party places Rahu in the Lagna in Mrityu Bhaga, the death-inflicting degree, under the aspect of sixth-lord Saturn. This points to army action, territorial pressure, strikes and enemy plots. Rahu itself in Mrityu Bhaga signals violence of the worst kind, aggressiveness, rebellion and mutiny. In the Navamsa the same Rahu again sits in the Lagna with the Sun (second lord), Mercury (twelfth lord of ambush and assassination, and third lord of army and communication), Mars (tenth lord of government and army) and Jupiter (sixth lord of armed forces and ninth lord).
The Critical Period Beginning 7 October
From 7 October 2026 at 11:31 a.m. the Ketu–Venus–Rahu dasha begins. Antar-dasha lord Venus stands conjunct lagna-lord Mercury, while pratyantar-dasha lord Rahu sits in the Lagna. Both receive the aspect of sixth-lord Saturn in the Rashi chart. This configuration signals a crackdown on the march by the army. Rahu, ruler of the pratyantar, also stands for unorthodox paths and the breaking of tradition. Party leaders may therefore act in an opportunistic manner, changing loyalties for personal benefit, with some negotiating with the army and switching sides.
The antar-dasha lord Venus is transiting Libra in the second house of the party in retrograde motion, carrying 5/8 B.A.V. points and 34 A.V. points. Though very strong, it is locked in planetary war with Mercury and remains retrograde and erratic. This indicates repeated efforts under intense conditions. 7 October 2026 will certainly be very challenging.
This phase lasts until 10 December 2026. Thereafter, in the pratyantar of Jupiter, mass support for the party is set to swell once more and may take the shape of a fresh mass movement. Fourth-lord Jupiter occupies its own house in the Rashi chart under Saturn’s aspect and, in the Navamsa, sits in the fifth house again aspected by Saturn—the significator of the masses.

Pakistan’s National Chart: Growing Difficulties
n the chart of Pakistan, after 15 May the Venus–Mercury–Saturn dasha started and the nation faces difficulty, for Saturn and Venus stand in planetary war. Venus is the second lord of the nation’s financial condition and the seventh lord of war, thieves, international affairs and treaties. In the Navamsa, Saturn and Venus occupy the fourth house under the aspect of Jupiter, the sixth lord of territorial attacks. The Chief of the Army (third house) will suffer a setback, since Saturn is the eighth lord from the third house and in the Navamsa joins the eighth-lord Venus. The communication network and railway systems of the nation will also face significant disruptions.
Rising Border Tensions After 26 October
When the Venus–Ketu dasha starts, Ketu sits in the eighth house of humiliation, calamity and death of the ruler. Ketu’s association with Afghanistan, China and mountainous regions amplifies the potential for disruptive violence. Afghan border skirmishes look set to rise after 26 October 2026, because Ketu’s sign lord Sun is in the sixth house in the Navamsa under the aspect of Mars (army) and Saturn (underground mines). In the Rashi chart the sign lord of Ketu is Mars, placed in the third house of border areas, communication, railways, and the Chief of Army Staff. Occurring in the sixth house from the third, the period brings Asim Munir face-to-face with territorial attacks and war-like situations, while railways and communications come under further strain.

The New Moon of 10 October: Extra Pressure on Government and Army
In the New Moon Chart of 10 October the eighth lord (humiliation, death of ruler, fall of government) Jupiter sits in Mrityu Bhaga with the seventh and twelfth lord Mars (war, battle, open warfare, losses) in the third house of railways, the Chief of Army, and border clashes. Eighth-lord Jupiter also aspects the tenth-lord Saturn (party in power, government, head of state). Rahu in the tenth house in both D-1 and D-60, under the aspect of Mars, shows pressure on the government from the army due to war-like conditions and the losses that follow.
New Moon Chart: Further Strain on Army Leadership and Infrastructure
In the New Moon Chart, eighth-lord Jupiter sits in the third house in Mrityu Bhaga in the Rashi chart. In the Navamsa, Jupiter [M.B](sixth lord) again aspects the third house and joins the third-lord Mercury. This indicates humiliation for Asim Munir, along with disruption to communications and railways.
What the Planetary Alignments Signal for Pakistan’s Near Future
The charts point to a tense stretch ahead. The party’s march faces the risk of a firm army response and possible internal shifts in loyalty from 7th October -10th December 2026, after which public backing may rise again. At the national level, financial strain, disrupted railways and communications, and growing border friction with Afghanistan appear likely, placing extra pressure on both the government and the army leadership. The New Moon of 10 October 2026 adds weight to these indications of instability and conflict-related stress in the weeks that follow.
