To find it, count the Nakshatras from Revati to the birth Moon’s Nakshatra, divide by 7, and use the remainder to select the dasha from the sequence: Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn.
For example, in John F. Kennedy’s chart, the Moon is in Purvaphalguni (12th Nakshatra from Revati). Dividing 12 by 7 gives a remainder of 5. Counting from Sun (1), Moon (2), Venus (3), Mercury (4), and Jupiter (5), we find that the dasha at birth is Jupiter.
