Saturn-Venus Dasha: Why UAE is Paying a Heavy Price in the Iran-America-Israel War

The war between America, Israel, and Iran has now entered its fourth week. In this Iran-America-Israel war, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is paying a very heavy price. Iran has made the UAE one of its main targets.

How the Attacks Started

At the start, Iran was only attacking Israel. But soon it changed its plan. It began firing thousands of drones and missiles at Gulf countries, especially the UAE. Iran did this to send a clear message to America and Israel because the UAE is a close friend of both these countries. When America and Israel started their joint military attack on Iran on 28 February 2026, Iran hit back quickly. It did not attack only Israel. It also attacked America’s friends in the Gulf — Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and most of all, the UAE.

Iran’s attacks did not hit only military bases. They also struck civilian places like airports, hotels, houses, and most importantly, oil and gas facilities. Iran wants to make the war more costly for everyone. It hopes that the Gulf countries will pressure America to stop the war and accept a ceasefire.

Early reports show that Gulf countries received far more attacks than Israel. In the first 11 days, there were about 3,100 attacks on Gulf countries, but only 433 on Israel. Among all Gulf nations, the UAE was hit the hardest. Iran sees the UAE as an easy target and the first “domino”.

My Personal Reflection as an Astrologer

I am practising astrology, but I could not see this coming in advance. I was unable to predict it. It was not even in my dreams that something like this could happen. Because of this, I never focused on the horoscope of the U.A.E. After this incident, I searched for the nation's horoscope to understand the cosmic plan. I used the principles of mundane astrology from Indian astrology. Mundane astrology is the branch of Vedic astrology that studies the fate of nations, cities, and big world events. It uses the national horoscope, planetary transits, dashas, and house significations. For example, the 1st house shows the condition of the nation, the 8th house shows hidden resources like oil and the destruction of the state, the 12th house shows losses and war, and the 3rd house shows neighbouring countries. In this way, we can understand the cosmic reasons behind wars and attacks on countries.

UAE National Horoscope Analysis

The UAE has Aquarius Lagna. Its 3rd lord (neighboring countries) and 10th lord (royalty and head of state), Mars is placed in the Lagna under the aspect of the Lagna lord Saturn from the 4th house. Saturn, the Lagna lord of the UAE, is in the 4th house under the aspect of Jupiter. In the Navamnsa chart, Jupiter and Saturn are in sign exchange. Both Saturn and Mars are mutually aspecting each other in the Rashi Chart. Saturn is also the lord of the 12th house (foreign countries and war). The UAE holds about 6% of the world's proven oil reserves and ranks among the top for natural gas. Abu Dhabi alone controls the vast majority of these resources. As per my research on the charts of the top crude oil-producing countries, I noticed a consistent connection between Saturn (representing oil, underground mines, and minerals) and the 8th house (associated with hidden resources beneath the earth). Here in the UAE chart, this connection is not from the Lagna but from the Moon. The Moon is the strongest planet in Shadbalam. Saturn is conjunct with the exalted Vargottama Moon, which has directional strength. This Saturn aspects the 8th lord Jupiter in the Rashi chart. In the Navamnsa chart, Saturn again aspects the 8th lord Mercury. Moreover, the 8th lord (beneath the earth) from the Lagna is placed in the 11th house. This clearly signals gains from oil exports. This is confirmed in the Navamnsa chart as well — the 8th lord Mercury is also the 11th lord. It is conjunct with the 9th lord Moon and under the aspect of the 10th lord Sun. In the Navamna chart, Venus (the 7th lord) and Moon (the 9th lord) are in sign exchange. This has made the nation a very attractive business hub for the international community

Current Dasha and Challenges

Currently, the nation is under the Vimshottari Dasha of Venus – Saturn – Mars. According to Bhavartha Ratnakar (Chapter 12, Shloka 1), a person or nation does not get good results when Venus Antardasha runs inside Saturn Mahadasha, or when Saturn Antardasha runs inside Venus Mahadasha. Here, the aspect of Jupiter on Saturn is a saving grace, but the Antardasha lord Venus is with Mercury, the 5th lord and 8th lord (calamity). The Mahadasha and Antardasha lords are placed 6-8 from each other, which clearly shows the difficulties the nation is facing.

The economy of the nation has been severely dented. In the D-60 chart, both malefic planets Mars and Saturn are influencing the 2nd house (accumulated money and financial condition of the nation) and the 11th house (gains from other nations). In the Rashi chart also, Mars (3rd lord of neighbouring countries) and Saturn (Lagna lord representing the nation UAE) are aspecting each other. The dasha started from 30th January 2026. Attacks on the UAE will continue till 8th April 2026 in Saturn-Venus-Mars dasha as Mars aspects the 8th house of calamity in the Rashi chart. In Navamsa, Mars as 6th lord (attacks) aspects the 7th lord and 12th lord Venus (war and losses).

Later the dasha shifts to Saturn – Venus – Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 12th house (war, losses, espionage and secret plots) in the Rashi chart. Due to the sign exchange between Moon and Venus (12th lord and 7th lord), Rahu is indirectly connected with the 12th lord Venus. The sign lord of Rahu is Saturn, which is aspecting the Lagna and Mars.

The UAE should be very careful for the safety of the nation till 28th September 2026 during Saturn-Venus-Rahu. A cyber-attack is also possible on the nation, along with other secret threats. The coming Mars Pratyantar with aspect on 8th house of calamity and the following Saturn-Venus-Rahu period clearly show that losses due to the ill effect of war may continue till 28th September 2026, and peace may take several more months. Relief will only be attained in Saturn-Venus-Jupiter from 28th September 2026, as Jupiter is the 2nd lord (financial condition of the nation) in both Rashi and Navamsa charts. Also, Jupiter is in sign exchange with Saturn in Navamnsa and aspecting the 11th house of gain or alliance with foreign countries.

This incident has taught me an important lesson. As astrologers, we must study the horoscopes of nations and major cities regularly. Mundane astrology helps us see the bigger cosmic picture behind world events. Now I realise that even a rich and peaceful country like the UAE can face sudden challenges when difficult planetary periods arrive. The close ties of the UAE with America and Israel are also playing a role in this cosmic and geopolitical drama.
