Mundane Astrology Analysis of India's Full Moon Chart for the Third Test at Lord's

This research explores the efficacy of Mundane Astrology, a branch of Vedic Astrology, using the India-England Test series, currently tied at 1-1, as a case study. My earlier predictions for the first two Test matches relied on mundane parameters such as the New Year Chart [Year], Solar Ingress Chart [Month], and Full Moon [15 days] or New Moon [15 days] Charts, but lacked the horoscopes of the Indian and England team captains, which are essential for accurate predictions. The accuracy of those predictions is left to the readers' judgment. The significance of the captains' charts is evident from the last Test, where the Indian captain scored an impressive 269 and 161, dominating with the bat, while the England captain failed to contribute significantly with either bat or ball. This analysis focuses on the third Test at Lord's, starting at 3:30 PM IST on July 10, 2025, with the Full Moon reaching its exact degree in the early hours of July 11, 2025, influencing the match from the second day onward. The first day's play aligns with predictions from my earlier article, linked here [https://www.astroseekers.com/post/prospects-of-the-indian-cricket-team-in-the-upcoming-england-test-series-vedic-astrology-forecast-p]. By examining the Full Moon Chart [15 days] for India, this research aims to predict India's performance in the Lord's Test and validate Mundane Astrology. Despite the risk posed by the absence of the Indian captain's chart, this challenge is crucial for advancing astrological research. The following sections analyze India's performance in bowling, catching and captaincy, and batting based on the Full Moon Chart (D-1 Rashi Chart), Navamsa (D-9), and Shashtyamsa (D-60) charts.

Bowling Analysis
The Full Moon Chart (D-1) for India reveals Taurus Lagna rising, with Venus as the Lagna Lord under the aspect of the Yogakaraka Saturn, forming a half Rajyoga, indicating potential for a strong team performance. However, the 3rd Lord Moon (representing sports, valor, and self-effort) is placed in the 8th House (associated with humiliation, calamity, and defeat), which is detrimental to the bowlers' performance. The Moon, in Kemdrum Yoga and under the aspect of the 8th Lord, despite having full Paksha Bala, suggests challenges in maintaining consistency, with risks of injuries or underperformance or wayward bowling . Saturn, the Yogakaraka (akin to an all-rounder in cricket), aspects the Moon in the 8th House, emphasizing the critical role of an all-rounder in bolstering India's bowling attack. Mercury, the 5th Lord (intelligence and communication), positioned in the 3rd House, indicates intelligent bowling strategies but potential issues with pace due to the weak 3rd Lord Moon. The Sun (symbolizing the eastern part of India, focus, and energy) and Saturn (an all-rounder from the west) provide strength, hard work, and energy to the bowling attack, yet the Moon's placement in Kemdrum in the 8th House remains a significant weakness. In the Navamsa (D-9) chart, the 3rd Lord Mars in the 8th House, aspecting the 3rd House where the Yogakaraka Venus is placed, suggests that an all-rounder will excel with swing, seam, and fiery bowling. In the Shashtyamsa (D-60) chart, the 3rd Lord Mars also aspects the 3rd House, reinforcing the potential for fiery  pace bowling. However, the recurring connection of the 3rd Lord with the 8th House in both D-1 (Moon) and D-9 (Mars) charts indicates persistent challenges, potentially leading to injuries, humiliation, or defeat for the bowlers.
Catching and Captaincy Analysis
The 10th House in the D-1 chart, representing sky, honor, and captainship, has Rahuunder the aspect of Jupiter (8th Lord, humiliation) and Mars (12th Lord, loss), indicating sloppy catching, though catching improved in the second Test compared to the first. As the famous cricket quote goes, "Catches win matches," this weakness could be critical. Rahu's Nakshatra exchange with Jupiter reinforces the tendency for dropped catches. In the Navamsa (D-9) chart, the 10th House has Ketu with the 6th Lord Moon (obstacles, lack of focus), the 7th Lord Sun (energy), and the 12th Lord Saturn (loss), indicating challenges with sloppy catching and poor captaincy due to lack of focus, inconsistent energy, and potential losses in fielding opportunities. In the Shashtyamsa(D-60) chart, the 10th House has exalted Ketu under the aspect of Jupiter from the 6th House, which is also under the aspect of the 6th Lord Moon and in Nakshatra exchange with Rahu. This configuration suggests that, despite Ketu's exaltation, Jupiter's compromised position may fail to mitigate sloppy catching and poor leadership decisions, potentially exacerbating fielding errors and suboptimal captaincy during the third Test.
Batting Analysis
The 9th Lord Saturn (representing luck, judgment, batting, and the west) in the D-1 chart aspects the Lagna and Lagna Lord Venus, enhancing India's luck, while its placement in the 11th House suggests strong batting with significant run accumulation. However, the aspect of the 12th Lord Mars (maverick shot selection, loss) introduces the risk of reckless batting decisions. Mercury (north, young), the 5th Lord, aspects the 9th House, indicating intelligent and strategic batting. In the Navamsa (D-9) chart, the 9th Lord Venus , Yogakarka{ All rounder, technique} aspects the 9th House, reinforcing excellent batting technique, but the aspect of Mars (maverick, rush of blood) suggests potential poor shot selection due to impulsive decisions. In the Shashtyamsa (D-60) chart, the 9th Lord Venus, alongside Lagna Lord Saturn, and the presence of Mars (energy, fire) in the 9th House, indicates robust batting performance. However, Mars in the 9th House, combined with Saturn as the 12th Lord (loss) with 9th Lord Venus , raises concerns about poor shot selection driven by a rush of blood, potentially leading to batting setbacks.

England's Chart Analysis

Bowling Analysis
The Full Moon Chart (D-1) for England shows Lagna Lord Saturn in the 3rd House with 34 Ashtakvarga points, indicating a strong and disciplined bowling effort. The 3rd Lord Jupiter, placed in the 6th House (competition and obstacles) with the 8th Lord Sun, suggests challenges in bowling consistency due to competitive pressure and potential setbacks. However, Mars (energy, fire), a karaka for the 3rd House, aspects the 3rd House as the 11th Lord (gains), indicating potential breakthroughs and gains through aggressive bowling. Rahu –Jaupiter Nakshtra exchange making the connection of Rahuwith 6th House of fight is favorable for the bowlers.  In the Navamasa chart, the 3rd Lord Mars in the 8th House (humiliation, defeat) suggests vulnerabilities in bowling, but Venus (Yogakaraka, all-rounder) in the 3rd House under Mars’s aspect indicates fiery, fast, and consistent bowling by an all-rounder. 3rd Lord Mars with Lagna Lord Saturn in 8th House under aspect of Jupiter from 12th House may give some issue related to the fitness of fast bowlers. In the Shashtyamsa (D-60) chart, Mars (Yogakaraka, fiery, all-rounder) and the 3rd Lord Venus in the 11th House of gains, alongside the 6th Lord Saturn (fight back), suggest excellent fiery and consistent bowling with a strong ability to fight back in competitive situations.
Catching and Captaincy
AnalysisÂ
The 10th Lord Venus in the D-1 chart is well-placed in the 5th House, forming a Rajyoga, and under the aspect of Lagna Lord Saturn, which also aspects the 11th House of gains, indicating strong captaincy and reliable catching. This configuration suggests effective leadership and minimal fielding errors. In the Navamsa (D-9) chart, the 10th House has Ketu conjunct the 6th Lord Moon (obstacles, lack of focus), under the aspect of the 12th Lord Saturn (loss) and the 10th Lord Mars in the 8th House (humiliation, defeat) with the 12th Lord and Lagna Lord Saturn, pointing to challenges with sloppy catching and poor captaincy due to lack of focus and potential losses. In the Shashtyamsa (D-60) chart, Rahu in the 10th House under the aspect of Mars (Yogakaraka) forms a Rajyoga, and the 10th Lord in the 11th House with the 6th Lord (fight back) suggests comparatively good catching with only a few dropped chances. However, Rahu’s Nakshatra exchange with Jupiter, the 8th Lord in D-60, indicates some risk of fielding errors.
Batting Analysis
The 9th Lord Mercury (youth, judgment, batting, and luck) in the D-1 chart is well-placed in the 7th House of partnerships, aspecting the Lagna, though lacking directional strength, suggesting strong batting through partnerships and judgment but with potential inconsistency. Lagna Lord Saturn aspects the 9th House will give discipline and consistency in batting. In the Navamsa (D-9) chart, the 9th Lord Venus (Yogakaraka, all-rounder) aspects the 9th House, indicating excellent batting, judgment, and luck. In the Shashtyamsa (D-60) chart, the 9th Lord Mars aspects the 9th House of luck, judgment, and batting, reinforcing England’s strong batting skills, particularly through aggressive and dynamic performances.
Comparative Analysis
• Bowling:
• India: Weakened by Moon in 8th House (D-1) and Mars in 8th House (D-9), with injury and inconsistency risks. Mars in D-9/D-60 offers fiery all-rounder performance.
• England: Stronger with Saturn in 3rd House (D-1), Venus in 11th House (D-60), and Mars’s fiery influence (D-9/D-60). Fewer afflictions and better fight-back capability.
• Edge: England, due to disciplined and consistent bowling.
Catching and Captaincy:
• India: Persistent issues with Rahu in 10th House (D-1), Ketu with malefics in D-9, and compromised Jupiter in D-60, leading to sloppy catching and poor leadership.
• England: Strong in D-1 (Venus in 5th, Saturn’s aspect), but D-9 vulnerabilities mirror India’s. D-60 Rahu with Mars’s aspect suggests better control over errors like sloppy catching .
• Edge: England, with superior captaincy and fewer fielding errors.
Batting:
• India: Strong run accumulation (Saturn in 11th, D-1; Venus in D-9/D-60), but Mars’s influence risks impulsive shots.
• England: Strong partnerships (Mercury in 7th, D-1) and dynamic batting (Venus in D-9, Mars in D-60), with fewer risks of recklessness.
• Edge: Evenly matched, with India’s run accumulation vs. England’s partnerships.
Conclusion
The identical Navamsa (D-9) charts for India and England indicate a fiercely competitive third Test at Lord's. India’s strength lies in robust batting, capable of posting substantial totals, but impulsive shot selection (Mars influence) may lead to critical wickets falling. Their bowling is weakened by inconsistencies and injury risks (Moon in 8th House, D-1; Mars in 8th House, D-9), though an all-rounder’s fiery performance provides hope. Catching and captaincy remain India’s weak spot, with persistent fielding errors and suboptimal leadership decisions (Rahu in D-1, Ketu in D-9, compromised Jupiter in D-60). England, conversely, benefits from disciplined bowling (Saturn in D-1, Venus in D-60), stronger captaincy, and reliable catching (Venus in D-1, Rahu with Mars in D-60), despite shared D-9[Navmansa] vulnerabilities. Their batting matches India’s in potential, driven by partnerships and dynamic play. Without the captains’ charts, precision is limited, but England holds a slight edge due to superior bowling consistency and fielding discipline. England is predicted to narrowly win the third Test by capitalizing on India’s fielding lapses and maintaining strategic leadership, provided they sustain their batting partnerships. Readers are encouraged to evaluate the match outcome against this forecast to assess Mundane Astrology’s predictive power, noting that the captains' charts, influenced by their Mahadasha, Antardasha, and Pratyantardasha during the match, could significantly alter the final result.
